The field utilizes the important aspects of the human dentition, which can unfold relatively broader intricacies of the case with accuracy and reliability. DNA extraction, bite mark analysis, disaster victim management, and individualization on the basis of the characteristics of their dentition are some of the major aspects that are dealt with in Forensic Odontology. So, here we are putting some limelight onto the investigation of the crimes committed against women and children involving forensic odontology and also the reconstructive identifications based on real-life cases. This session also focuses on human remains identification even in the advanced stages of decomposition from an Expert’s point of view.
