SIFS India is conducting a two days workshop at the Department of Forensic Science, School of Science, Sandip University, Nashik, focusing on Cyber Forensics, Lie Detection and Cross Examination. Students will gain practical experience in Mobile Data Extraction, learning how to retrieve and analyze data from mobile devices, which is essential in modern forensic investigations. The goal of lie detection is the discovery of a truth that is known to one person and concealed from others. It is important to understand the technique of Lie Detection. As a forensic student or forensic expert it is crucial to understand about cross examination, hence in this workshop students will also learn about the techniques and skills for an effective cross examination. Other than these, students will acquire knowledge about Ink Stroke Analysis. The hands on experience in recording fingerprints and development of latent prints using physical and chemical methods will be beneficial for students to enhance in their skills in fingerprint examination. The practical of Poroscopy and Edgeoscopy will also be a part of workshop.
