Also, there are no extra charges for Paper 1 for students who enroll in Paper 2 course.

In UGC NET Paper 1, a total of 50 multiple-choice questions are asked, each carrying 2 marks, making it a 100-mark paper. This paper assesses your teaching and research aptitude and covers topics such as reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. To qualify for the UGC NET exam, you need to score a minimum of 40% in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 combined if you belong to the general category. For candidates from reserved categories, the qualifying marks are set at 35%.
