Ashlesha Dipale is an organized and detailed oriented person, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Science, Jain Deemed to be University, Bangalore. Being a forensic professional her focus is on teaching and research in the field of Forensic Science. She has completed a bachelor's as well as a master's of Forensic Science from Govt. Institute of Forensic Science, Nagpur, Maharashtra. To explore her interest she has completed a one-month Internship at Legal Desire where she has prepared legal research and judgment summary on various cases and has published an article entitled “Trace Evidence in Forensic Science”. She has also completed a certification course in Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU). Her hands-on expertise in instrumentation includes Fourier-Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy, Video Spectral Comparator, Stereomicroscope, Thermal Cycler, UV-VIS Spectrophotometry, Gel Documentation System, and Microplate Reader, etc. She has secured the second rank in the poster competition on “Illegal Wildlife Trading” organized by Govt. Institute of Forensic Science, Nagpur, and achieved the first rank in an intercollegiate poster-making competition on the topic “Make in India '' organized by G. H. Raisoni College, Nagpur. Apart from the above she has also Participated in the “Kutuhal'' medical science exhibition organized by VNIT College, Nagpur, and presented a project on “Nano biosensor: A tool for rapid and on-site detection of lead.” Additionally she has conducted the practical session in a one day workshop on “Forensic Anthropology '' and “Techniques in Molecular Biology and its application in Forensic Science” jointly organized by Govt. Institute of Science and Govt. Institute of Forensic Science, Nagpur.
