Dr. Parantap Kumar Das

Dr. Parantap Kumar Das is an Associate Professor at the School of Law and Constitutional Studies, Shobhit University, Meerut. He has done his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Criminology from the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He has been a consultant at the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR, Ministry of Women and Child) and the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) Ministry of Women and Child. He was the coordinator of the Interim Working Group (IWG) Secretariat, National Action and Coordination Group (NACG): Ending Violence against Children in India and also worked as a program officer of Common Wealth Human Rights Initiatives (UN ECOSOC). He has also been a master trainer at the National Institute of Social Defense, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Throughout his professional journey, He constantly demonstrated his research expertise through publications of book chapters and high-quality papers.
