Dr. Shubhra Sanyal

Dr. Shubhra Sanyal is a Retired Professor, LNJN NICFS, New Delhi and a Counsellor at OHBII, Sewa Kuthir, New Delhi. She is first Criminal Psychologist in India. She has experience in training direct training skills, designing training, and addressing addictive behavior among adolescent drug users. She has also worked as a lecturer at Isabella Thoburn College and Jail Officers Training School. She has held positions as Deputy Director at the National Institute of Social Defense, Head of the Drug Bureau, and Deputy Director for Behavioral Training at the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management. She has been involved in research, including the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fellowship, and has written books on 'Save Your Children' and 'Communication and Counselling in the Workplace.' She has attended numerous seminars and conferences and has received awards, including the Sushil Chandra Award from the All India Association of Criminology.
