Dr. Kirandeep Kaur Dhaliwal

Dr. Kirandeep Kaur Dhaliwal holds her Ph.D. in Nursing and she has completed her M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing & M.A. in Public Administration. She has contributed significantly to the healthcare sector, serving as a Member of the Punjab State Mental Health Authorities. This role demonstrates their active involvement in shaping mental health policies and practices within the state, impacting the lives of many. After a successful career with the Punjab Government, she embarked on a new chapter as a Professor and Head of the Psychiatric Nursing Department, as well as the Principal of MM Institute of Nursing in Mullana. With over 32 years of professional experience, she has a wealth of knowledge to offer. This includes an impressive 17 years of clinical experience and 15 years of teaching experience, highlighting their expertise in both patient care and educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. Formerly Organizing Secretary of Indo Pacific Forensic nursing science Academy and now as EC member. Moreover, she is actively guiding postgraduate and Ph.D. research scholars, nurturing the development of future leaders in nursing and healthcare. As an accomplished author and researcher, she boasts a significant number of publications in indexed journals and contributions to various books, enriching the nursing literature with their insights and expertise. She is a life-long member of esteemed organizations, including the Trained Nurses Association of India, the National Research Society of India, and the Indian Society of Psychiatric Nurses. She is not only a scholar but also a dynamic speaker, often invited to share her knowledge at national and international conferences.
