Dr. Neeraj Taneja

Prof. Dr. Neeraj Taneja is a graduate of KLE Dental College, Belgaum, 1998. After completing his postgraduate degree in Oral Medicine and Radiology from SDM College of Dental Sciences, Dharwad, he did his MBA from Punjab School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala, in 2007 and a PG Diploma in Forensic Sciences from Punjabi University, Patiala, in 2008. I have been pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Research from Galgotias University, Greater Noida, since 2017. He had been a Professor with 16 years of experience in Dental Colleges. His specialty areas include Clinical Research, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Orofacial Pain, Forensic Odontology, and Oral Cancer. He has published more than 30 scientific publications and has more than 50 paper presentations to his credit.

He had been a guest speaker at various International and National Conferences. He has a keen interest in Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Trials, Forensic Odontology, and Oral Cancer. He had been conducting various hands-on workshops on bite marks.  He had been conferred Fellowship in Forensic Odontology by the Indian Board of Forensic Odontology in 2015 and also received the Excellence in Forensic Odontology award by the Indian Health Professional Awards 2016 in Pune, 2016. He has been conferred the Promising Dental Leadership Award 2018 from the Pankosmia Talents of Healthcare (PTH) Awards 2018. He organized the 14th National Conference of the Indian Association of Forensic Odontology in September 2016, which was attended by 950+ delegates, and the 6th INPAFO World Conference on Forensic Odontology in 2019 (duly approved by the Govt. of India) at Chandigarh, which had keynote speakers from 12 different countries and was attended by 550+ delegates. He is a founding Member of the Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology (INPAFO) and the former vice president of the Indian Association of Forensic Odontology and the Indo-Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology. Currently serving as an advisor to INPAFO. He is also Managing Editor of the Journal of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology (Scopus Indexed).
