Dr. Tanurup Das

Dr. Tanurup Das is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Forensic Science in The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, India and also working in a project on Digital Forensics in collaboration with Amity Institute of Information Technology, Mumbai, India. He completed his doctoral degree research work on Vibrational Spectroscopic analyses of forensically relevant body fluids in combination with advanced statistical techniques supported by Machine Learning Techniques. He has rendered his research services to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, U.P. India – 284128, as a ‘Research Fellow’ for more than 3 years. He has authored and co-authored more than fifteen research articles in nationally and internationally acclaimed scientific journals. He has been awarded Junior Research Fellow by UGC, MHA, India, which was further upgraded to Senior Research Fellow. He has also been awarded for the best oral presentation and best poster presentation in several national and international level conferences. He has delivered invited talk on Forensic Science subjects in colleges and international conferences and also been a part of the organization committee of several national and international level conferences. He is also a listed reviewer of several internationally acclaimed journals and member of several prestigious science societies
