Associate Professor and Associate Provost

Tan Wei Ling Stella is an Advocate and Solicitor, and Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), with expertise in forensic science, criminal and evidence law, and molecular biology. She previously served as Deputy Senior State Counsel (Sex Crimes) at the Attorney-General’s Chambers and Director of Prosecution at the Health Sciences Authority She currently leads NUS’s 20-year Forensic Science Programme, lectures across the Faculties of Science, Law, and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, and holds multiple leadership roles including Associate Provost, Assistant Dean, Director of the NUS-French Double Degree Programme, Hall Master of Raffles Hall, and Deputy Officer-in-Charge of the NUS-NPCC. She also represents Singapore in setting international forensic science standards and sits on the National Bioethics Advisory Committee.
