Dr. Neeti Kapoor

Dr. Neeti Kapoor is a Group-A Maharashtra Education Services (Class-1, Gazetted) Officer of the Department of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, selected by the State Public Service Commission (MPSC). She is presently an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Department of Forensic Science, and the Placement Cell In-charge, Government Institute of Forensic Science, Nagpur. She has more than 44 international research and review articles in journals of high repute like Nature, The Lancet, Nature Medicine, BMJ Injury Prevention, Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine, etc. along with 15 chapters in books by Springer, Taylor and Francis, Elsevier, Nova publications, etc. to her credit. She has also edited two book titled Forensic Microscopy: Truth Under the Lenses, published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group) and Textbook of Forensic Science, published by Springer. She is ranked amongst the TOP-2% Scientists of the World in the recently Published list (Elsevier) by researcher of Stanford University. She has recently received the GLOBAL NAGPUR WOMEN ACHIEVER award at the hands of Hon’ble Union Road Transport Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari.
