Mayank Kumar Dubey

With over 12 years of experience, he is a dedicated and innovative professional specializing in forensic science and education. As an Assistant Professor, he has successfully conducted impactful classes and provided training to students, fostering a passion for forensic science. His expertise extends to serving as an expert in Forensic Laboratories, where he handled complex Forensic/DNA cases.

A notable highlight of his career was serving as the General Manager and Chief DNA Expert at Ivory Coast DNA Diagnostics and Forensic Laboratory from March to July 2019. In this role, he analyzed and reported DNA cases, managed departmental administration, and played a pivotal role in training budding DNA/Forensic experts. Subsequently, he was appointed as the Assistant Director by Truth Labs International to set up the first Forensic DNA Laboratory in Ivory Coast, Africa. Having successfully completed the project and trained local experts, the laboratory has been handed over to the local government authority. In academia, he served as a Senior Faculty & HOD in the Department of Forensic Science at Mody University of Science and Technology, Rajasthan, India, and currently, he is contributing as a Senior Adjunct Faculty at Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science, New Delhi, since February 2022. His diverse professional journey also includes roles in HCL Technologies for British Telecom, where he analyzed online fraud issues, and at the Forensic Science Laboratory (CID Police) as a Scientific Officer, specializing in Forensic Biology, Serology, and DNA Divisions.

He possesses comprehensive knowledge in the effective management of intelligence and investigative operations, coupled with expertise in vigilance, forensic investigation, and security concepts. His commitment to maintaining high-quality standards is evident in his knowledge and experience with ISO/IEC 17025 Quality systems. Additionally, he has contributed to the field through research paper reviews in the German Journal of Forensic Sciences. His proactive approach extends beyond professional realms, as showcased by his completion of a Cyber Forensic internship at Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship in 2021. He exhibits a high level of initiative in both curriculum-related and extra-curricular activities, employing student-centered learning techniques to instill enthusiasm and value education.

In his current role as the General Manager (Hospital Management) at Shree Ram Hospital, Gwalior, and as a Guest Senior Adjunct Faculty at Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science, Delhi, he continues to leverage his expertise to contribute meaningfully to the fields of forensic science and healthcare management. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in conferences, seminars, and training programs, staying updated with the latest trends in forensic science. Noteworthy accolades include receiving the first prize in a skit competition, rewards from law enforcement agencies for contributions to forensic science awareness workshops, and winning the first prize in a Life Sciences Quiz Competition organized by Invitrogen and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
