Rajesh Balkath

Rajesh Balkath is a meticulous and dedicated Forensic professional with 3 years of experience in various sectors of the Forensic field, like the forensic lab, research, and Teaching at the university. He is good at communicating with professional and non-professional audiences in an understanding and helpful manner. He has worked as a Scientific Officer at Truth Labs Forensic Services, Hyderabad, from June 1, 2019 to January 20, 2021, where his key responsibilities were Fire and Arson investigations, visiting crime scenes and fire-affected vehicles for root cause analysis (Photography, Documentation, Evidence collection, collecting statements from witnesses, etc.), and report drafting. He has also worked as a research assistant in the Project titled “Assessment of Psychosocial Profile, Addiction Trends, and Suicidal and Criminal Tendency among Adolescents and Young Adults of Major Cities in India” at Osmania University, funded by ICSSR IMPRESS, MHRD, New Delhi. He has qualified for a UGC Net Lectureship in the subject of Forensic Science. He is working as part-time faculty in the Forensic Science Unit at Osmania University, and he has also delivered lectures as Guest Faculty at the Forensic Science Department at Acharya Nagarjuna University. Along with that, he has presented various papers and posters at national and international conferences as well.
