The Facial Recognition Online Internship program by SIFS India equips you with expertise to extract and analyze distinctive facial features to identify suspects, locate missing persons, and solve cases related to mass disasters. You will learn how to use the software, with a special focus on maintaining an individual's privacy and the challenges associated with its usage.

In this online internship, you will learn about facial recognition principles, image enhancement techniques, face detection algorithms and limitations, face recognition methods (feature- and template-based), deep and machine learning approaches, real-life applications, handling partial and low-quality images, and related legal frameworks and privacy concerns.

Also, after successfully completing the internship, you will receive an industry-recognized certificate that showcases your expertise in implementing facial recognition methods to solve cold cases, identify missing persons, and for security purposes. It is a futuristic field with a high level of scope and will open a vast number of career opportunities for you.

Important Information:

  1. All of the sessions are conducted on the Zoom platform in accordance with Indian Standard Time (IST).

    The duration of each lecture will be 2 hours.

    Recorded lectures can be accessed only through the portal using your login details.


  • Will I receive a practical setup physically?

    No, the training institute will not send any practical material physically. In case of any prerequisites provided by the resource person, students will be informed in their WhatsApp group.


  • Will I receive any certificates after completing the online internship program?
