Training Introduction

Presumptive and confirmatory test for body fluids, ABO Blood typing, microscopic examination, hair and fiber examination, and plant evidence examination are all performed during the practical session. 

Ethical and legal considerations in forensic biology include issues of consent, privacy, the handling of sensitive biological data, and the potential for misinterpretation of evidence. These topics are taught through training that explores relevant laws, ethical guidelines, and best practices in forensic investigations. 

This is a lab-based internship where you can enhance your knowledge in the field of forensic biology and serology. However, after completing this internship, you may not be fully qualified to work as a forensic biologist or serologist. While you will gain valuable knowledge, further training, certifications, and practical experience are often necessary to establish yourself in the field and make a significant impact.

During the training, you will learn techniques for analyzing biological evidence, such as serological testing for blood and other bodily fluids and microscopic examination. These skills are essential for linking evidence to individuals in criminal cases.

In this training program, you can use a microscope, hot plate, hot air oven, incubator, and TLC chamber, which are the essential tools and equipment used in the labs during examination.

Yes, upon successfully completing the training, you will receive a certificate that validates your skills and knowledge in forensic biology & serology, enhancing your professional credentials and opportunities in the field.

You can apply for a duration of 7 days to 1 month, and if you wish to extend your training, you can do so. During the training period, you will engage in both theoretical learning and practical work.
