
Forensic chemists analyze the physical and chemical properties of different materials in order to identify them correctly where one or more materials may have similar properties. If one does not look, one does not find. Toxicologists should write this message on a mirror above their desks. All substances are poisons; there is none which is not a poison. The right dose differentiates a poison from its remedy. Although students thought these subjects are tough to understand but SIFS, India aimed to make students learn by creative learning and several activities which clarified the concepts clearly. Our sessions were took by experienced teachers as well as experts in respective field. In our online internship journey they gained knowledge about the topics like forensic chemistry and toxicology introduction, analysis of (poisons, dyes, paints, inks, fillers, binders, and other chemicals), each method of analysis uses specialized techniques and instrumentation, poisons (organic, inorganic and miscellaneous), pesticides, insecticides, weedicides, extraction of poison and various case studies which made students to link those cases with the topics. As the forensic chemistry & toxicology are purely practical field but SIFS, India provided remote internship virtually anywhere in the world.
